Upon graduating from Texas State University where I focused on international relations and broadcast journalism, I realized the job market in the American media world was fairly stagnate. I decided to sell my car and what little else I had, buy a camera, and travel the parts of the world that were, at the time, prominently mentioned in big media.
I set out to understand the Arab spring, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and emerging markets in Asia, and along the way, I made short documentaries and wrote about these topics.
When I finally returned to the United States, I began associating with a small media company called Global Voice Productions, and am currently collaborating with them to produce new work.
