While Ploss was chosen to go to the Republican Convention as a delegate, Carey, who decided to run at the last minute replacing on the the candidates on the Trump slate, withdrew. If she had won, Carey was supposed to vote for John Kasich, based on the public votes in the Massachussetts primary. "I can't do this. I can't vote for someone else on the first ballot," she said.

Hurowitz supported Rubio over Rand Paul, his first choice, since he had a better shot at winning as a moderate Republican, he said. "Now that Rubio is out, I don't think I will be involved in any other campaign. I don't even know who I will vote for."

The Spanish Government rejected his asylum request, but he is remaining in the country and attending courses to become a social worker in the future. He does not want to go back to El Salvador because he is afraid of being killed by the gangs.

People from the community of Petare, one of Latin America's largest slums, take part in the Via Crucis organized by the parishioners of the "El Nazareno" sector in one of Caracas' poorest districts.
