Former Minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili and prominent leader of the "Bring Back our Girls" campaign attends a protest to mark the second year anniversary of the kidnapping of over two hundred girls from Chibok, Borno State by Boko Haram. Boko Haram is regarded as the most notorious terrorist group in Nigeria by local officials. The protest was aimed at putting more pressure on the Nigerian government to put more effort in securing their release.

The video shows the aftermath of an alleged coalition airstrike that hit a civilian house in the city of Ibb on Monday, April 13th. Civilians gathered at the site to help with the rescue efforts.
According to witnesses, 13 members of the same family died when the top floor was hit by a missile, collapsing the building. People then marched on the streets protesting against the airstrikes.
The airstrike targeted a sports hall and severely damaged adjacent residential buildings. The spokesperson for the Saudi-led military campaign Brigadier-General Ahmad al-Assiri said in a recent statement that Houthi fighters are using sports facilities to store ammunition.

In Arizona Apache activists lead a 45 mile march culminating in an open-ended occupation of sacred land recently turned over to Resolution Copper for mining. In December Sen. John McCain attached a rider to the Defense Bill giving the 2,400 acre Oak Flat to the Rio Tinto subsidiary. This story follows several activists during the actions, beginning on the San Carlos Indian Reservation and through the occupation at Oak Flat.
Originally Oak Flat was part of the initial San Carlos Indian Reservation when it was established in 1872. As with much of the land surrounding the Reservation as it exists today, the land was taken away from the Apache Tribes parcel by parcel in the late-19th and early-20th centuries and given to an expanding mining industry. Oak Flat, however, unlike other parcels, was made exempt from mining in 1955 by an executive order issued by Pres. Dwight Eisenhower and was preserved as part of the Tonto National Forest. December's legislation effectively overturns that executive order.
The Apache now living on the San Carlos Reservation are not traditionally from that specific area. Apache tribes lived in the surrounding mountains, including the area of Oak Flat, before being defeated by the US Calvary and driven onto the Reservation in the late 1800s. The Reservation was originally a prison camp. Oak Flat is one of several sites that was once Apache land but has long since been out of the tribes' control. For countless generations the site has been considered a holy place in their native religion. In addition to it being an ancestral home of the Apache, Oak Flat is also a burial site; a place to gather acorns as part of a traditional fall ritual; and a location for the Sunrise Ceremony, the coming-of-age ceremony for young Apache women, among other traditions.
What makes the Oak Flat mining project especially controversial is the method of mining that will be used, called "block cave mining." At Oak Flat, the copper ore lies more than a mile beneath the surface. In contrast to conventional mining practices, "block cave" essentially digs deep and removes all of the matter from a site - copper ore, earth, waste, etc. - and the top eventually caves in on top of the cavern. This is a far cheaper but far more destructive process. Once the mine is in full operation no one will be permitted to access Oak Flat - not campers, climbers, and hikers; not the Apache who consider it a sacred place. And according to Resolution Copper itself, as the entire surface collapses Oak Flat will eventually be destroyed.

Thousands of Shi'ite Muslim Houthis staged a rally in the capital Sana'a on February 2nd to show solidarity with the Houthi movement's decision to grant Yemen's political factions a three day ultimatum to pull the nation out of its political vacuum.
The protesters said political factions have only two days left to reach an agreement, otherwise the Houthi leadership would take matters into his own hands and form a presidential committee to govern Yemen for an interim period.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) holds a rally in Gaza in support of Lebanese Hezbollah movement. The rally was held as a show of solidarity with Hezbollah after one of their key figures was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike in the Syrian controlled Golan heights.
While no longer the formidable military organization it once was, the PFLP maintains a political role in Palestinian society and has strong ties with both Hezbollah and the Assad regime in Syria.

Beirut, Lebanon
Amidst tight security, Lebanese Shia citizens defy ISIS bomb threats and participate in Ashura celebrations in Beirut's southern suburbs.
Ashura commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein in the battle of Karbala in 680AD. While primarily a religious celebration, Ashura in Lebanon is highly tied to politics. This year's rally in south Beirut ended with a speech by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who defended his party's military actions in Syria.
Sunni militant groups like ISIS and Nusra Front have been threatening to attack Hezbollah controlled and Shia dominant areas in Lebanon in revenge for Hezbollah's involvement in the Syrian conflict. Last year, Beirut's southern suburbs experienced a wave bombings at the hands of Nusra affiliated militants.

According to some sources, women mostly support Al Sisi, what do you think of that matter?
"Well, each person acts according to his beliefs, man or woman, I personally believe that Hamdeen Sabbahi is the one who will support us and make our dreams come true, especially after several Television appearances for Marshal Al Sisi, which led us to discovered that he will not meet our expectations, and he doesn't have solutions for our problems, he has no solutions for the unemployment and living standards"
