In recently liberated Malakal, hospitals, schools and churches have been transformed into refugee camps – housing the displaced, but struggling to provide for the huge number of those seeking safety. Army spokesman Philip Aguer said on Monday that the rebels "were flushed out of the town" and Malakal was "finally in the hands" of South Sudanese troops again.
